Abstract. The given article attempts to reveal interrelation of scientific study of topical issues of national-liberation movement of XVIII-ХIX centuries in Kazakhstan with educational process. It is well known that the great historical significance of the national liberation movement is an integral process of the people’s movement towards independence, socioeconomic, political and spiritual progress in the development of Kazakh statehood. Independence has given us a wide opportunity to study the pages of history and give an objective assessment of the past of our state. Much attention should be paid to the study of the national liberation movement of the Kazakh people in close connection with the features of the process of teaching and learning of this subject in universities, colleges and schools. Therefore, the article argues that the theme of the national liberation movement requires in-depth research, improvement of methodology and historiography at a qualitatively high level. In this connection it’s important to study the achievements of foreign theory and practice of study and teaching the
given problem.
